Meet the Founder/Owner
Brenda Gallegos, a longtime native of Ukiah, California, is the founder and owner of Leading With Love Healthcare Education Center.
Brenda's journey in healthcare began at the age of 13 when she started working weekends in the dietary department. At 15, she became a nursing assistant, and by age 30, she had become a nurse. Throughout her 46-year career, the majority of her work has been in skilled nursing and long-term care. Brenda also earned a degree in psychology in 2010.
In 2015, Brenda discovered her passion for teaching when she became the Director of Staff Development at a local skilled nursing facility. In 2019, she began teaching the nursing assistant training program and has since graduated approximately 125 nursing assistants, achieving a 99% success rate across three local skilled nursing facilities.
Beyond her dedication to caring for the elderly and vulnerable, Brenda is a proud mother of four adult children and grandmother to four. She enjoys spending time with family and close friends, caring for her little dog, Lilly, working in her yard, and sprucing up her home. Brenda also has a love for food and coffee!
About Our Company
Leading With Love Healthcare Education Center was founded with the mission of addressing the healthcare staffing shortage in our community.
Brenda, the Founder and Owner, has witnessed firsthand the toll this shortage has taken on staff members, who tirelessly work long hours to ensure the well-being of the elderly and those who are ill.
At Leading With Love, we offer high-quality education and hands-on training for individuals pursuing a career in healthcare.
Our center is dedicated to providing exceptional training for nursing assistant students, offering continuing education opportunities for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs), as well as CPR and BLS certification courses.
